Jumping Colégio Militar 2008

Decorreu no passado dia 21 de Junho o Jumping do Colégio Militar no Hipódromo do Campo Grande.

Com a sua primeira edição em 1964, passados mais de 50 anos a essência desta prova mantém-se: há uma de 1,10m para alunos e ex-alunos e a tradicional prova de parelhas entre ambos, sagrando-se vencedores os cavaleiros que realizarem o percurso em menos tempo e com menos falhas. Este ano, à semelhança de anos anteriores, fomos brindados com a fantástica exibição da Classe de Volteio do Colégio Militar.

Foi com enorme prazer que a Associação Portuguesa de Árbitros e Juízes de Pentatlo Moderno participou neste evento oferecendo três taças: um conjunto a uma parelha e uma outra a um dos classificados individuais.

Na prova individual recebeu a taça da APAJPM o Sr. Cor. Nuno Bívar, ex-aluno nº. 121 do Colégio Militar, classificado em 3º lugar.

Em 5º lugar na prova de parelhas, premiados com as taças oferecidas pela nossa Associação, classificaram-se o Sr. TCor. Dores Moreira, ex-aluno nº. 251 e o aluno 121, Comandante de Batalhão, Mendo Ataíde.

De relembrar que da APAJPM fazem parte, enquanto sócios/árbitros, 16 ex-alunos desta nobre Instituição. Desde a realização do primeiro Penta5 que as relações entre a Associação e o Colégio têm sido as melhores e esperamos que assim se mantenha por muito tempo. Faremos o que estiver ao nosso alcance para que assim seja.

In the 21st of June, at Campo Grande's Racetrack, the Portuguese Military School organized a competition for it's ex-students and present students. This is an event that has over 50 years, since the first edition was realised in 1964 (see the poster above).
There is 1,10m individual competition and a pairs competition where an ex-student forms a team with a student of the Military School. They also presented the spectators with an exibition of a very special class of students doing some amazing mandatory and free exercices, indidual and in groups (see the photos above).
Our Association joined this evented by giving an award not only to an individual competitor, the ex-student Colonel Nuno Bívar, classified in the 3rd position of the 1,10m competition (see the photo above) and also to the team composed by the ex-student Lieutenant Colonel Dores Moreira and the Comander in Chief of the Students Battalion, Mendo Ataíde (see the photo above).
It was a pleasure for us to be a part of this event. In APAJPM we have 16 ex-students (judges and referees) of this Institution and since the first edition of Penta5 that our relationship (amongst our Association and the Military School) has become closer.
